The Architect was asked to develop a long range master plan for this existing parish. The request was also to determine the growth impacts and program future space requirements for the main sanctuary, administration facilities, and plan for the addition of an elementary school on the existing site. Many seating, baptism, Eucharist, rites and rituals were
presented with active parishioner participation. Design workshops were developed to gain insight into the community needs and goals. Out of this process a months were dedicated to defining the parish in terms of Vision and liturgical needs. Workshops on formal understanding of the parish vision was. The seating capacity of the existing worship center
was 750. Expansion called for doubling the capacity to 1,500 seats, adding a Eucharistic chapel, large vestibule, and an exterior gathering space for fellowship after Mass. This process included relocating the recreational area that currently existed so that space would be available for the new facility. This was to take place before any new construction began.
