Widely known for our expertise in religious architecture, ACDA offers a comprehensive, cooperative process to create positive spiritual spaces.
Partner Greg Davis, who received sanctioned training from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago, is a highly regarded liturgical design consultant. Other firms regularly seek his guidance for their own projects.
Greg has developed a six-month series of workshops we use to help religious communities define their needs and goals. We lead participants through workshops on liturgical space, rites, rituals, and other topics, such as fundraising. It’s a collaborative process. As they share their experiences, observations, ideas and preferences, we generate design concepts and solutions.
When members of a congregation or parish participate in the design process — from initiation to review — we gain the insight we seek to create architecture aligned with their vision.
The ACDA team has experience designing Catholic, Protestant, Evangelical and non-denominational houses of worship: church campus improvements; and master plans.
